Not legal advice

Faraaid is an educational tool. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, religious rulings (fatwa), or professional financial advice. All results are for informational and planning purposes only.

Use a lawyer

A legally valid will in Canada must comply with provincial Succession Law requirements. It must be signed and witnessed correctly. Use Faraaid to understand your Islamic obligations, then engage a licensed Muslim estate lawyer to create a legally binding document.

Accuracy

We apply Hanafi faraid rules based on Quran 4:11–12 and 4:176. We make every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that results are free of error. Complex estates, disputed relationships, or unusual family structures should be reviewed by a qualified Islamic scholar and estate lawyer.

No warranty

Faraaid is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on results from this tool.

Free forever

The core tools on Faraaid are free and will remain free. We may add premium features in the future, but the inheritance calculator and basic will template will always be available at no cost.
